Complément au dernier développement d'Arsène Sainct-Agnile sur l'Azoth

Here goes my small contribution for this study :

1^st figure

Please notice that the correct order of the cards is not that of the tarot de marseille, if you can figure it out you will understand what that caph with the candle means *.

2^nd figure

The animal forms are the magic attributions (gnomes ondines...) and also the separated qualities of the elements. The TARO letters are the proper elements . I think the ouroboros suggests the rotation or circulation of the elements and cycles.

* Je suppose que Celso fait allusion au fait que la lettre Tav, 22^ème et dernière lettre de l'alephbeth, correspond en fait à l'arcane 21 du Tarot. Cela n'est pas un hasard bien évidemment. Au niveau symbolique, la lettre shin a un statut très particulier, sur lequel je ne m'étendrai pas ici. L'arcane qui lui correspond (le Mat) n'a d'ailleurs pas de numéro dans la plupart des Tarots.
